“Off the parking lot, behind Ashland Terrace, is an unexpected treasure. It’s a little gem that neighborhood residents probably would prefer to keep to themselves. But the garden brings color and joy to residents of the retirement home and their neighbors.”
Mary Meehan, Lexington Herald-Leader
The Ashland Terrace garden is Lexington’s only public cutting garden, and features in-season flowers, herbs, ten raised beds, three water features and a fairy garden. Prices for cut flowers and herbs are below market. All donations are used to maintain the garden and prepare it for the coming season. Please email or call to find out what’s blooming.
